Out to Lunch

I'm out to lunch
An apple, bread and water.
In a quiet auditorium seat
Away from the noise and the heat
Bag on my lap
Eyes on the clock
checking the minutes slink back
I ate the apple and the bread
I need a pillow and a bed
It’s hard to keep a clear head

Asleep after my frugal lunch
on the seat in front I slouch
I'm not meant for morning dew
But for darkness and night blue
